I for one am not an 80's baby [90's ♥], therefore I never witnessed first hand the greatness of shoulder pads when they first hit the fashion industry. However, recent trends have been bringing them back, and I absolutely adore the affect shoulder pads add to a women's silhouette. It emphasizes the top portion of the body, subtling the waist area, and drawing the attention back on the hips...very hour glass like for those who weren't blessed with the "36-25-24" body....
